GlobalAIRules is an independent advocacy and education initiative. We reinterpret Isaac Asimov’s Three Laws of Robotics as a practical safety framework for modern AI, and we campaign — through our Declaration, articles, and public awareness work — for these principles to be embedded in both regulation and engineering practice.
No. GlobalAIRules is an independent initiative inspired by Asimov’s published fiction and his enduring contribution to the ethics of intelligent machines. We are not endorsed by, or affiliated with, the Asimov estate, his publishers, or any related entity. We reference and reinterpret his concepts for educational and advocacy purposes.
No. We are pro-safe AI. We believe artificial intelligence can bring enormous benefits to medicine, science, and everyday life — but only if it is built with enforceable safety principles from the start. Our goal is responsible development, not a halt to innovation.
No. Signing is a public statement of support, not a legal contract. It exists to demonstrate the scale of public demand for AI safety standards to lawmakers, regulators, and technology companies. It carries moral and political weight, not legal obligation.
We collect only the information shown on the signature form (name, email, and optional profession/organization). It is used to verify signatures, keep you updated on the initiative, and — with your consent — to be counted publicly toward the total number of signatories. We do not sell or share your data with third parties.
We welcome technical contributors, researchers, and organizations who want to help translate these principles into actual standards, audits, or open-source safety tooling. Reach out via our Contact page to discuss collaboration.
The Index reflects our editorial assessment of publicly known risks associated with categories of AI systems (e.g., large language models, autonomous weapons, humanoid robotics), based on publicly reported incidents, research, and regulatory discussion. It is a educational tool to spark conversation, not a certified technical audit or legal rating.
No. We are an independent, non-partisan citizen initiative. We are not funded by, or acting on behalf of, any government, political party, or AI company. (Update this answer if your funding/affiliation status changes.)
Sign the Declaration, follow and share our content on Facebook, and talk about these ideas with people around you. Public pressure and awareness are just as important as technical expertise in shaping how AI gets regulated.
